Student and Community Family Support Services

A proven way to improve children’s lives is to give them and their families what they need to succeed. East Bay Agency for Children operates four student and family support service programs in Alameda County that are designed to remove barriers to students’ learning and promote the flow of resources and support to families in need.

Fremont Healthy Start, Hawthorne Family Resource Center, Sequoia Healthy Start, and Probation Mental Health provide comprehensive and coordinated services to enhance academic, emotional, and physical success of students by partnering with schools, families, community members and other youth serving organizations. The programs are designed to serve the whole child.
