Lafayette Day Treatment Program began operation with the 2007-2008 school year and is sited at Lafayette Elementary School in West Oakland.

• The program serves up to 10 children, Kindergarten age to 3rd grade.
• Benefits of being on a school site include the wide range of mainstreaming opportunities into the general education population.
• Children enjoy lunch and recess with their general education peers allowing them to socialize and make friends outside of the classroom program.
• Children receive weekly individual and daily group therapy.
• A staff psychiatrist is available to assess, evaluate and support medication options.
• The program focuses on family involvement and weekly family therapy sessions are offered.
• The children participate in OBUGS, a nature and science discovery program, visit the school garden, use the school computer lab and participate in the new science lab.
